The Original lambda

Lambda Ares is a razor that has been first manufactured back in 2019. It was made in only 50 pieces and quickly became a collectable item. Now, Lambda Ares returns to the market with some updates, without changing its original style. It comes with a slightly longer handle which keeps the original analogy of an ancient Greek temple column. Razor head is the same style, but becoming a bit milder without sacrificing its exceptional effectiveness.

Lambda Razors are at an exceptional level not only in performance but also in shaving comfort. Ares and Athena have displaced many of my favorite razors. Athena is suitable for daily shaving, but it can also handle a several days beard. I can classify it as a mild razor (maybe at the lower mild end) and it gives such a smooth shave. On the other hand Ares v2 is perfect for 3-4+ days, I would probably put it on the upper mild/lower aggressive scale. But it gives a very close and comfortable shave. Both razors are extremely efficient. If you have any doubts about buying one of them, don’t! You won’t regret it! Theodoros makes magnificent razors!

First of all Theo is wonderful. He has fabricated a remarkable razor in the Ares. It’s incredibly smooth without any of the OC scratching or raking feel you can get from other open combs. The .30 gap and neutral blade feels like a micro blade and has given me 13-14hrs. BBS. At 17-18 hrs. Your face still feels very smooth. I have had the Athena which is great but I prefer the Ares. No nicks and no weepers either and I have a very coarse and heavy growth. I love it so much that I ordered it in Copper too. Enjoy!

Extremely efficient with minimal blade feel for a comfortable head shave, Ares V2 SS is a fantastic beautifully CNC machined functional art. One of my top DE razor alongside my Athena SS and Titanium.

I love the shave experience so much from the Ares V2 that I cannot wait to order a titanium Athena—my holy grail razor. No design element has escaped Theo’s mastery! The razor is impeccably polished, the Ares handle is eye-catchingly beautiful, the handle base perfectly balances to stand proudly on its own…the shave experience is effortlessly smooth!
