I thought the Athena was good, the Ares goes even further.

Astonishingly close safe shave. Actually used it this morning for the second time.

Build qaulity is sublime, the handle, I just adore the weight and how it feels in the hand. Decent length makes it very manoeuvrable & user friendly.

This is one of the best razors on the market.

Very impressed. The design, build quality and the fact it does an exceptional job of shaving all make this razor a favourite for me. I was initially concerned the open comb nature could make this too aggressive for me but this was absolutely not the case. I think the Ares V2 is just slightly more efficient than the superb Athena, but just as smooth and comfortable.
Theodore has provided two world class razors presented in a manner and with a price point that is unrivalled in my opinion.

Great and really impressive razor! Both from visual perspective (for me it’s the best looking razor I have, beating even Wolfman or polished Timeless) and it’s efficiency. It’s really efficient and still not too aggressive.

Shave 3 days of beard that have flown with total effectiveness; the first pass in favor of note the blade working (its presence is already surprising) and not slipping without knowing if it cuts something 🤔
The second effortless lateral pass is almost ready, to notice the ease with which one passes (you have to control yourself) due to the smoothness of the pass 👌
