Description
The Original lambda
Lambda Ares is a razor that has been first manufactured back in 2019. It was made in only 50 pieces and quickly became a collectable item. Now, Lambda Ares returns to the market with some updates, without changing its original style. It comes with a slightly longer handle which keeps the original analogy of an ancient Greek temple column. Razor head is the same style, but becoming a bit milder without sacrificing its exceptional effectiveness.

It’s very well crafted to be balanced, smooth and efficient. It ticks every box of what an excellent shave should be.
You could be forgiven to be fooled by the open comb design to believe that this is going to be an aggressive shaver but you will be pleasantly surprised as you navigate the contours of your face without fear or hesitation as it can handle both one days growth or many weeks of growth.
There is just enough blade feel to give you a sense of where you to feel pleasant and to gauge an angle of attack for your shave without feeling like a threat at all. There is either some sort of witchcraft here or some well considered knowledge in design which never fails to leave you with a smooth, irritation free shave. Remarkable!
The handle’s grip is excellent and makes for a great looking razor as a nod to Greece’s wonderful past that I admire so much. (I’m looking forward to what comes next)
If you buy from Lambda you can rest assured that you are buying a quality razor with even better customer support.
Very few razors reach this level of excellence as far as I am concerned.
This razor is fine enough to be a daily shaver even with my relatively sensitive skin which is something not many razors have been able to achieve in my vast collection of razors.
If irritation free, BBS shaves is what you are looking for then you will have found it here in the Ares razor.
It’s just a joy to use.
You can rest assured I will be looking at this brand very closely from now on.

Mühle R41 is famous, celebrated, and yet a very balanced and efficient razor, but it found is Nemesis with Ares razor.

I have had and loved the Athena razor since I received it back in June 2022 and Ares is another hit!
It is more aggressive than Athena, very efficient and an absolute joy to use. Right now it is difficult to see any razor knock these two of the piedestal of my most beloved razors of all time. I probably have to consider selling a majority of my previous razors since I do believe a lot of them will only be sitting collecting dust from now on. I can not praise the design, functionality and craftmanship enough!! The only thing I could possibly see knocking these razors off the top position for me is another new razor design from Lambda Razors. Thank you for another amazing razor Theodoros!! 🙏🏻
